The layouts offer various levels of detail to suit your requirements, the examples all show points of isolation but some are in more detail and others  have more of the buildings utilities for a more complete record of the installation.

Unlike HIP's the Utilitree can be kept and passed on to the next occupant to assist with their knowledge of the building. Some landlords may wish to update the Utilitree so they have a record of changes made and certification required.

Things happen, whether it’s through a malfunction or just a mistake. If a Utilitree is in place the occupant has a greater chance of limiting the damage caused giving peace of mind to the owner.
