The Process

As part of our Building Inspection Service your property would be mapped, primary and secondary points of isolation recorded and vulnerable points noted. This would then be converted to a CAD drawing with a legend to identify each point.
Your copy would be supplied with a laminated finish so you could store it for easy reference. Further copies would be distributed as required. We will keep a copy on file for so any changes can be made.

Who could benefit from our Building Inspection Service?

• The present occupant, who would like to learn more about their building.
• A new occupant, who could use it as an induction to important things they need to know about their building.
• Insurance Companies, who would recognize the benefit of damage limitation.
• Housing Associations and Councils, who would have a record of the installation so any additions from the date of the mapping would have to be certificated.
• Letting Agents, who could add it to the ‘introduction pack’, to assist in the settling in for the new occupant.
• Tradesmen who, using the detail of the Utilitree, would be able to identify existing installations easily and quickly.

When you move into a building you expect certain things to happen:

• Flick a light switch and a light comes on,
• Turn a tap on and water comes out, turn it off and the water stops,
• When it’s cold the heating comes on.
